Record & transcribe a meeting

Pandecho captures your meeting audio locally and transcribes it on your device. No bot joins the call, and the audio never leaves your computer.

Pandecho records the audio playing on your computer plus your microphone, so it works with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, or an in-person conversation — nothing has to join the call. Transcription runs on an on-device model, and it separates speakers automatically (speaker diarization).

In the app

Open Pandecho and click Start recording from the home screen (or press ⌘⇧N).
Grant microphone and system-audio permission the first time (Settings → Permissions).
Talk through your meeting — a live transcript builds as you go, with per-speaker labels.
Click Stop when you're done. Pandecho saves the recording and transcript to the note.
Optional: turn on Settings → App → Start when meeting begins so recording starts automatically for calendar events.

Ask your AI agent

Once a meeting is recorded, any connected AI agent can pull the transcript through the Pandecho MCP server. Set this up once with the MCP guide, then try:

Summarize my last Pandecho meeting.
Pull the transcript from my 10am standup and list the key points.
What did we decide in yesterday's design review?
